Donna J. Self Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donna J. Self of Gardner, Kansas, who passed away on April 20, 2026, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Donna J. Self to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Scannell Sr. and Dessie Baker Scannell; her siblings, Lawrence Scannell Jr. and Betty Rossmiller; and her children, Thomas A. Boldt and John L. Boldt.
She is survived by: her brother Robert Scannell (Rita); and her children, Nancy Salm (David) of Dayton and James Boldt (Kathleen O'Malley Boldt) of Olathe, Kansas. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Donna requested that donations be made to the Activities Fund at Homestead Assisted Living of Gardner, the community where she resided.
