He was predeceased by: his parents, Daryl Lorenz and Mickey Lorenz (Garner); and his wife Helen Lorenz (Tolman). He is survived by: his children, Bart Lorenz (Lisa) of Gulf Shores, Alabama and Nicole Pemberton (Chris) of Spring Hill, Kansas; his grandchildren, Carl Hutchinson (Teresa), Matt Hutchinson, Ashton Howard, Dalton Lorenz (Erin), Jamie Pemberton, Josie Pemberton and Julia Pemberton; and his great grandchildren, Lyllee, Damien, Trenton, Avery, Tatum and Halsey.

The family suggests memorials to Center Bethel Church.
