James will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor James by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though James is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. James’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Earnest and Kathleen Mae O'Grady (Brantley); his brothers, Kevin William O'Grady and Brian Gerad O'Grady; and his sisters-in-law, Sharman O'Grady and Terri O'Grady.
He is survived by: his brothers, Patrick Matthew O'Grady of Overland Park and Dennis Gerald O'Grady (Linda) of Overland Park. He is also survived by five nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church (555 W Main St, Gardner, KS 66030). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
