We are sad to announce that on February 3, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Jo Anne Patricia Smethers of Gardner, Kansas, born in Kansas City, Missouri. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, James William and Dorothy Ozell Littrell (Gilpin); her husband Laine Smethers; and her siblings, Lee Littrell, Charles Littrell (Florence), Bobby Geane Smith and Nalda Jean.

She is survived by : her children, Michael Smethers (Robin) of Gardner, Kansas, Gary Smethers (Theresa) of Gardner, Kansas, Anita Watters (Paul) of Gardner, Kansas and Vicky Downey (Dave) of Gardner, Kansas; and her sister Wynonna McQuay. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
