The memory of Meda Scarlett of Gardner, Kansas, who passed away on March 19, 2026 at the age of 92, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. Though Meda may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Meda touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry L. Blundell and Meda Blundell (Silvers); her husband Irvin; her son Daryl Scarlett; and her siblings, Laura Beasley, Donald, Roy, Harry and Robert.
She is survived by: her sons, Dennis of Overland Park and Carlton Scarlett (Gale) of Gardner. She is also survived by five grandchildren, one step grandchild, nine great grandchildren, four step great grandchildren, four great -great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
