With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Paul Thomas Hoppe of Gardner, Kansas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Paul left this world on October 13, 2025 at the age of 79, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Ruth Hoppe (Berlin); and his sister Donna. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his children, Jennifer (Terrie Gustafson) and Philip (Jaimee); his siblings, Dan (Jackie Hoppe) and Sandy Kuester; his sisters-in-law, Marsha McCray and Marla Schmale; and his grandchildren, Shelby Anderson, Lacey Gustafson, Landon Gustafson, Gideon Hoppe, Olivia (Joshua Martin), Ella Hoppe, Josiah Hoppe, Maria Hoppe, Anna Hoppe, Aleah Hoppe and Ezekiel Hoppe.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the King of Kings Lutheran Church (306 E Madison St, Gardner, KS 66030).
Memorials may be given to any of the four congregations Paul served or King of Kings Lutheran Church in Gardner where he was a member.
