She was predeceased by : her parents, William Emery and Mary Frances Wheeler (Hartup); her husband Jack Howard; her siblings, Billie Wheeler, Frances Britton, Emery Wheeler and Dale Wheeler; and her great grandchild Lucas.

She is survived by : her children, Janice Zehner (Ed), Sherry Kurkowski (Tim), Larry Howard and Karen McHenry (Jim); her grandchildren, Leigh, Lori, Bobbie, Erin, Tony, Teri, Jennifer, Amber, Joanna and Jack; her great grandchildren, Maddi, Lauren, Kendal, Triela, Melody, Kyleigh, Dalton, Chesney, Marek, Koen, Collin and Hannah; and her great great grandchildren, Harper, Macyn, Marlie and Wesley.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Bruce Funeral Home (106 S Center St, Gardner, KS 66030).
