Winona will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Winona by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Winona is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Winona’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her husband Walter Chrisjohn; her children, Randy Chrisjohn and Sheree Chrisjohn; her brother Tracy Hilderman; and her great grandchild Kyler Adams.
She is survived by: her sons, Scott (Tina) of Osawatomie and Rick (Donna) of De Soto, Kansas; and her daughter-in-law Leah Chrisjohn. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bruce Funeral Home (106 S Center St, Gardner, KS 66030). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be given to St Jude Children's Research Hospital.
