She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Edwin and Gladys E. Zwiener (Talbot); her husband Scott Powelson; her sister Evelyn Thompson; and her grandson Wyatt Michael Wiederholt.
She is survived by: her sons, Royce Ray (Angie Powelson) and Terry Powelson of Iola; her grandchildren, Crystal (Doug Haywood), Misty Powelson (Mitch Rolls), Mindy (Matt Schuler), Tyler Powelson, Caleb Powelson, Kyle (Taylor Powelson), Carson Powelson, Amber Wiederholt, Max (Stephanie Wiederholt) and Samantha Wiederholt (Kyle Silvers); her great grandchildren, Easton, Brady, MJ, Maxton, Remi, Cooper, Cadence, Evander, Tripp and Bohdi; and her siblings, Sandy Erhart (Pat Tate) and Larry (Linda Zwiener). She is also survived by numerous relatives and friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to Allen Community College (for the Scott and Carol Powelson scholarship) or Garnett First Christian Church or to the Richmond Community Museum and left in care of the funeral home.
