He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Joseph and Albertine Eugina Lickteig (Peine); his son Ronald Lickteig; and his siblings, Victor Lickteig, Patricia Goodeyon, Joyce Burris, Eugene Lickteig, Stephen Lickteig and Linda Lickteig.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Lickteig of Paola, Randy, Mariann Lickteig of Olathe, Bill Lickteig of Garnett, Cheryl Lickteig of Omaha and Lori Hicks (Kenneth) of Garnett, Kansas; his daughter-in-law Kim Lickteig of Warsaw, Missouri; and his siblings, Bernard Lickteig of Burlington, Alfreda Hiner of Olathe, Mike Lickteig (Barb) of Greeley, Fabian Lickteig (Annie) of Cicero, Leon Lickteig (Jane) of Greeley and Jerome Lickteig (Donna) of Trimble, Missouri. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Ronald McDonald House and left in care of the funeral home.
