He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl T. Lizer and Adelia Lizer (Andrews); and his sisters, Mary Rose Lizer and Emma Isabel Phelon (Lizer). He is survived by: his wife Ann Lizer of Garnett; his children, Rex Lizer (Teresa Myers), Shirley Spiller (Kenny) and Marilyn Floyd (Don); and his grandchildren, Aaron Lizer (Diane), Allison Ray (Lizer), Andrew Lizer (Tammy), Chelsea Rodriguez (Joseph), Nicholas Spiller, Jacob, Tyler, Christian and Karina Floyd. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.

The family welcomes memorial donations to Good Shepherd Hospice or Garnett First United Methodist Church instead of flowers.
