He was predeceased by: his parents, Walt Mader and Dorothy Mader (Brummel); and his sister Marilyn. He is survived by: his wife Marcia Mader; his children, Jenni Dean (Doug) of Shawnee, Emily Ballou (Terry) of Fontana, Meghann Bohle (Greg) of St. James and Gabe Mader (Jessi) of Olathe, Kansas.; his grandchildren, Ellie Dean, Sam Dean, Trevor Ballou, Madison Ballou, Rayelle Ballou, Scout Ballou, Landen Bohle, Brady Bohle, Scarlett Bohle, Norah Mader and Declan Mader; his sister Judy Mader of Garnett, Kansas; and his sister-in-law Dixie Mader of Collinsville, Oklahoma.
A rosary was held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Holy Angels Catholic Church (520 E 4th Ave, Garnett, KS 66032). Visitation was held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A committal service was held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 11:45 AM to 12:30 PM at the Holy Angels Cemetery (520 E 4th Ave, Garnett, KS 66032).
Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Angels Church or St. Rose School and left in care of Feuerborn Family Funeral Service.
