He was predeceased by: his parents, Elvin Robert and Alma Elizabeth Spencer (Jones); and his siblings, Clifford Spencer, Dale Spencer and Ann Harrison.
He is survived by: his wife Susie Spencer; his daughters, Rhonda McDonnell (Mike) of Emporia, Brenda Hubler (Dale) of Garnett and Sandra Bach (Gary) of Topeka, Kansas; his grandchildren, Josh Hubler, Amy Blaufuss, Justin McDonnell, Jerrica Preeo, Jamie Murray, Chris Blaufuss and Taylor Bach; his son Mike Sanders (Alicia) of Pratt; his grandchildren, Victoria McFarland, Allison DeClue and Chris Sanders; and his brother Wayne Spencer of Irving, Texas.. He is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorial contributions may be made to St. Luke's Hospice or the Wounded Warrior Project.
