It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Patrick Peine of Garnett, Kansas, who passed away on November 2, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Peine and Letha Peine (Scully); and his wife Mildred Chmidling of Vincent's Church. He is survived by: his children, Martin Peine (Brenda) of Oakland, Arkansas, Bernard Peine (Kim) of Underhill, Vermont, Michael Peine (Karen) of Tonganoxie, Kansas, Marita O'Reilly (Bill) of Bella Vista, Arkansas and Donna Buhlig (Randy) of St. Louis, Missouri. He is also survived by five grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; seven great grandchildren, two brothers-in-law; and three sisters-in-law.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Holy Angels Building Fund or Friends of the Library, and left in care of the funeral home.
