She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer McDermeit and Ida McDermeit (Volz); her husband Paul Henderson; and her siblings, Clifford McDermeit (J. R. McDermeit) and Anna Rose Smith.
She is survived by: her son Dr. David Henderson (Edna) of Garnett, Kansas; her grandchildren, Brenda Platt (Scott) of Colby, Steve Henderson (Misty) of Oklahoma City and Nicci Denny (Shawn) of Garnett, Kansas; and her niece Linda McDermeit. She is also survived by eight great- grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Parkview Heights and left in care of the funeral home.
