It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard D. Doty of Garnett, Kansas, born in Wichita, Kansas, who passed away on November 12, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his wife Sandy; and his stepson Robert Powers (Rep). He is survived by : his children, Russell Doty (Karen), Doug Doty, Matt Doty and Denise Doty; his stepdaughters, Vicki Mills (Bob) and Mary Gedrose; his grandchildren, Travis Doty (Kevon), Candice Fitzpatrick, Tanner Doty, Carson Doty, Margo Doty, Darcy Burton (Brandon), Meghann Lawrence (Rod) and Robynn Doty (Greg Harvey); and his stepgrandchildren, Eric Callahan (Beth Jett), Chris Callahan (Yan), Rob Mills (Sarah), Malia Brand (Mike), Brian Gedrose, Kevin Gedrose and Kendra Bartel (Brandon). He is also survived by nine great grandchildren and sixteen step great grandchildren.
