She is survived by: her parents, Francis Brady and Mary Casey Brady of Chase, KS; her husband Larry Oberle; her children, Colt Oberle (Julie) of Wichita, KS, Michael Oberle of Geneseo, KS and Raven Pedigo (Kyle) of Ellsworth, KS; her brother Shannon Brady of Chase, KS; and her grandchildren, Joseph, Alissa and Chloe Pedigo.

Memorials may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Tamy devoted her life to helping others and in death made a final wish to donate her body to those in need.

“I worked with Tamy at the prison many years ago and became friend. Colt and my son Paul are best friends and have been since 1993. Tamy was always willing to help me with Paul and became his 2nd mom. I haven't seen Tamy since she and Larry visited us in San Diego, but I thought of her often. She was a wonder person angrily loved. I loved her and will miss her dearly even though I hadn't seen her for a long time. My prayers go out to the family and all her friends.”
