With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donald Lee Mitchell of Girard, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 26, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Mitchell and Goldie Mitchell (Heskett); his spouse Winnoa Joy Multhaup; his daughters, Donna Westhoff and Mary Beth Kline; and his brother James Mitchell.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Isaac Westhoff and Vanessa Sweet (Matt); his great grandchild Giselle; his granddaughter Tiffany Roberts (Westhoff); his great grandchildren, Ainsley, Nora, Tara Anderson (Matt), Gabrielle Pennington (Alec) and Christopher Kline; his sister Retha Nickel of Mound Ridge, Kansas.; Lincoln, Liv, Mandolynn and Emmalynn.
Memorials are suggested to Children's Mercy Hospital and these may be left at the Smith-Carson-Wall Funeral Home or mailed to the funeral home at 518 W St. John, Box 258, Girard, 66743.
