Heather Burgess Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Heather Burgess of Girard, Kansas, who passed away on January 23, 2026 at the age of 46. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Gerald Robert Burgess; and her grandparents, Glenn Mae Fogg Gillespie, Colt Richard Gillespie, Robert and Pauline Burgess.
She is survived by: her mother Linda Sue Gillespie; her daughters, Kaitlyn Sharbutt, Caroline Sharbutt and Layla Sharbutt; her stepfather Billy Eads; her fiancé Anthony Fischer; her former husband Thomas Sharbutt; and her aunts, Anita Self (William) of Graniteville, SC and Candace Russell (Glenn) of Charlotte, NC.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the USD 250 Foundation or PHS Band Boosters.
