He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Lee and Genola Westervelt (Richardson); and his wife Gloria Mae Antonette. He is survived by: his children, Derek Westervelt of Pittsburg and Tianne Westervelt of Cherokee, Kansas; his brother Alvin Westervelt; his stepgranddaughter Darcey O'Brhym; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Henry and Margot O'Brhym.
