She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Bill" Lee Clugston and Bonnalyn "Bonnie" Katherine Guston (Bryan); her husband Donald Earl Scales; and her parents-in-law, Melvin Scales, Maurice Scales and Judith Scales.
She is survived by: her children, Glen W. Scales (Sherry) of Allen, TX and Donna L. Platt (Steven) of Butler, MO; her siblings, Dennis Clugston (Sandra) of Deer Park, TX, Paula Clugston of Pittsburg, KS, Peggy Rowley of Pittsburg, KS, Garry Clugston and David Mitchell of Tulsa, OK; and her grandchildren, Jenny Jo Burdine, Kaleb Platt, Breanna Jones and Tessa Webb. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family asks expressions of sympathy to be in the form of memorials to SNPJ Scholarship Fund and/or Girard American Legion Post #26.
