She was predeceased by: her parents, George S. Willson and Mamie Willson (Fincher); and her son Jimmy Dean Allen. She is survived by: her husband Bob; her daughter Barbara Burks of Thayer; her granddaughter BryAnna Thornton (Brett) of Thayer; her great grandchildren, Brextyn, Bryor and Brinkly Thornton of Thayer; and her sister Joyce Meyer of Shawnee, Kansas..
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Smith-Carson-Wall Funeral Home (518 W St John St, Girard, KS 66743). A graveside service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the McCune Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to the Girard Bible Church and these may be left at the service or the Smith-Carson-Wall Funeral Home, 518 W St. John, Box 258, Girard, 66743.
