She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Kious and Ivah Kious; and her husband Vernon. She is survived by: her children, David Hershberger, Fred Hershberger (Treasa) of Greenwood, MO, Marilyn Ricketts (Steve) of Edgerton, MO, Shirley Hershberger and Donna Long (Steve) of Pleasant Hill, MO. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and sixteen great- grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Smith-Carson-Wall Funeral Home (518 W St John St, Girard, KS 66743). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to the Girard Senior Center and these may be left at the Smith-Carson-Wall Funeral Home, 518 W St. John, Box 258, Girard, 66743.
