She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Hawkins and Ruby Hawkins (Cram); her husband William P. Sullivan; and her sister Donna Jo Mitchell. She is survived by: her children, Laura Kmiec Jagels of Girard, Christopher Kmiec (Ashley) of Lusby and Donald Kmiec of Girard; her grandchildren, Gage, Spencer, Caroline, Alex, Lucas, Launa, Blake and Scarlett; and her siblings, Howard Hawkins (Donna) of Branson, Cheryl McGown (Gary) of Branson and Maggie Lloyd (Brian) of Columbus.
Memorials are suggested to the Greater Kansas City Friends of Fisher House which serves families of veterans eligible to receive healthcare from the Kansas City VA.
