Monte Bean Obituary
We announce the death of Monte Bean in Glasco, Kansas, who passed away on July 20, 2026, at the age of 78. Monte will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Bean and Lois Bean (Rarick); and his son Monte Dan Bean II. He is survived by: his children, Melissa Schuster (Matthew), Melinda Latham (Chuck), Melanie Lira (Anthony) and Matthew Bean (Crystal); his stepchildren, J. D. Ehrsam (Michelle) and Jill Ehrsam; and his brothers, Murray Bean (Janet), Max Bean (Susan) and Mark Bean (Jennifer). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Monte's name can be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and may be sent to Roberts Family Funeral Home, 910 N Campbell, Beloit, Ks 67420.
