We are sad to announce that on August 28, 2023, at the age of 71, Lowell Dean Schmidt of Goddard, Kansas, born in Newton, Kansas passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lowell Dean Schmidt to pay them a last tribute.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Jake Schmidt and Hazel Schmidt (McCoy); his sons, Jeramie Schmidt of North Dakota and Justin Schmidt (Erin); and his siblings, Patricia Mead (Darwyn), Bob, Darrin Schmidt and Barb Bergen. He was also cherished by five grandchildren.

A memorial has been established with the Grandchildren's Education Fund, in care of Olson's Mortuary, Canton.
