She was predeceased by : her husband Bernard "Bernie" Brands; and her father Pollard Dauron Magee. She is survived by : her daughters, Kimberly Ann Landers, Lyn Marie and Lori Susan Brands; her grandchildren, Lindsey Edwards (Brian) and Shane Goldwater; and her great grandchildren, Makayla, Lilliann, Magee and Orion.
