She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Nickel and Lena Nickel (Goossen); her husband Ray Schroeder; her son David Schroeder; and her siblings, Irene Stoecker, Roy Nickel, Joan Snider, Elma Becker, John Nickel and Bob Nickel.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Marlene Schroeder; her daughters, Carol Goering (Randall) and Kay Heikes (Greg); and her sister Julie Whitman. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
