We announce the death of Marcella Ruth Woelk of Goessel, Kansas, who passed away on July 29, 2026, at the age of 93. Marcella will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank K. Schmidt and Luise Schmidt (Frey); her siblings, Alfred F. Schmidt, Orlando E. Schmidt and Elda Franz (Flaming); and her brother-in-law LeRoy.
She is survived by: her children, Bryce L. Woelk (Kathy) of Goessel, Debra L. Ewert (Harris) of Hillsboro and Kelvin L. Woelk (Jennifer) of Fort Collins, CO; and her grandchildren, Amanda "A. J." Wood (Stephen Pettigrew) of Valley Center and Michael Woelk (Krysta) of Goessel.
