He was predeceased by: his parents, Wylie Monroe and Odessa Mattie Kerr (Ockerman); his wife Carolyn D'ann Brown of Vilas, Colorado.; and his sister Patsy Kerr. He is survived by: his sons, Alfred Leon "Lonnie" Jr. of Goodland, KS, Aaron (Brenda) of Springfield, CO and Kenneth of Calhan, CO.; his grandchildren, Brian Kerr of Colorado Springs, CO, Katie Allen (Scott), Chase Kerr, Lila Joy Kerr, Ethan Allen and Aubrey Allen; and his sister-in-law Kathy Maestas.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bateman Funeral Home (211 E 11th St, Goodland, KS 67735). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Vilas Cemetery.
