We are sad to announce that on October 8, 2025, at the age of 86, Darlene Lucille Kirby of Goodland, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry C. Dizmang (Hank) and Gladys P. Dizmang (Akers); her husband Allen V. Kirby; her siblings, Mildred Laughlin, Irene Johnson, Vera Lynn, Hazel Morton, Kate Musil, Sam Dizmang, Carl Dizmang, Lyle Dizmang, Raymond Dizmang (Dick) and Dwane Dizmang; her siblings-in-law, Jack Laughlin, Harold Johnson, Joe Lynn, Lowell Dean Morton, Ron Musil, Lois Dizmang and Nancy Dizmang; and her nephews, Clint Dizmang, Dale Lynn, Ronnie Musil and John Musil.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Mckee (Stephen) of Springfield, MO, Cally Krallman (Rick Aeschliman) and Norman Kirby (Pat) of Goodland, KS; her grandsons, Shawn Kirby (Linden) of Topeka, KS, Mitch Kirby of Winona, KS and Zachary McKee of Springfield, MO.; her great grandchildren, Lillian and Nora Kirby of Topeka, KS.; her close friend Gary Bennett of Goodland, KS; and her brother Dareld Dizmang (Carolyn).
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Koons-Russell Funeral Home - Goodland (211 N Main Ave, Goodland, KS 67735). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at the Goodland Cemetery (510 N Main Ave, Goodland, KS 67735).
Memorial contributions may be made out to the Goodland FFA and may be left at the services or mailed to Koons-Russell Funeral Home, 211 N. Main Ave., Goodland, KS 67735.
