She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Chaney and Margaret Chaney (Basgall); her brother Dane Chaney; her siblings-in-law, Judy Koehn (Collins) and Jerry Collins; her nephew Marc Graham; and her parents-in-law, Lola Collins (Wostenberg) and Elmer Collins.
She is survived by: her husband Dennis Collins; her children, Angela Van Allen (Kevin) of Sharon Springs, KS and David Collins of Elizabeth, CO; her grandchildren, Sierra, Dylan, Madisan, Chandler, Noah, Tori, Teagan and Morgan; her great grandchild Kashlyn; her sisters, Kathy Robinson (Gary), Rodene Doty (Gary), Teresa Havel (Roger) and Denise Weyerman (Wayne); and her sisters-in-law, Linda Collins and Jeanne Pancake (Rick). She is also survived by many other relatives and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to local food banks in her honor this holiday season or to breast cancer research directed to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and may be sent to Koons-Russell Funeral Home, 211 N. Main Ave., Goodland, KS 67735.
