It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Darrell Everett Melstrom of Goodland, Kansas, who passed away on October 6, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Everett and Dorothy Evelyn Melstrom (White); his son Gregory; and his grandson Bryan. He is survived by: his wife Jayne Sackett; his children, Crystal Hernandez (Mario) and Dwight Melstrom of Goodland; his grandchildren, Marco, Erica Hernandez and Faith Melstrom; his great grandchildren, Zowie, Xavier and Tarrence; and his sister Deanna Bontrager of Lakin, Kansas. He is also survived by family members and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Goodland Bible Church (109 Willow Rd, Goodland, KS 67735).
