She was predeceased by : her parents, Roy Everett and Julia P Everett (Smalley); her husband Harold L. Van Vleet; her sister Nellie Bowman; her son-in-law Mark K. Brunworth; her granddaughter Julia Van Vleet; and her siblings-in-law, Malcolm Van Vleet, Richard Van Vleet, Ronald Van Vleet, Merlyn Blue, Otho Welcher, Kenneth Smith, Patsy Van Vleet, Julie Van Vleet, Marjorie Van Vleet and Wilma Blue.

She is survived by : her children, George Van Vleet (Mary Ann) of Goodland, Dianna Briney (Mike) of Hays, Susan Brunworth of Richmond, Missouri and Robert Van Vleet (Gennaro Scopo) of Aurora, Colorado; her grandchildren, Kristin Herl (Jeremy) of Hays, Allan Briney (Ashley Flowers) of Goodland, Justin Van Vleet (Crystal) of Goodland, Brandon Van Vleet (Eryn) of Goodland, Ella Ho (Andrew) of Lee's Summit, Missouri and Alea Miller (Cullen) of Kansas City, Missouri; her great grandchildren, Tailynn, Ryker Van Vleet, Kamleigh, Lane Van Vleet, Quinn, Vance Herl and Jackson Ho; and her sister-in-law Esther Smith of Carthage, Mississippi..
