With solemn reverence, we commemorate Jack E. Eklund of Goodland, Kansas, whose life came to an end on November 9, 2025 at the age of 87, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Minnie Eklund and Carl Eklund; and his sisters, Betty Lou Eklund and Carlene Herl. He is survived by: his sisters, Shirley Burke, L. Ann Domsch and Faye Cooper; his wife Marilyn Eklund (Schield); his children, Shanna Tibbetts (Todd) and Jacque Livengood (Tyson); and his grandchildren, Eric Tibbetts, Emma Tibbetts, Brooke Livengood, Blake Livengood and Blayze Livengood.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Koons-Russell Funeral Home - Goodland (211 N Main Ave, Goodland, KS 67735). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church (222 W 13th St, Goodland, KS 67735). A burial was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at the Goodland Cemetery (510 N Main Ave, Goodland, KS 67735).

Memorial contributions may be made out to the Emmanuel Lutheran Church or to Northwest Kansas Fair and may be left at the services or mailed to Koons- Russell Funeral Home, 211 N. Main Ave., Goodland, KS 67735.
