He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Dinkel-Hoffman and Clara Dinkel-Hoffman (Nemechek); his wife Wilma (Wellbrock); his siblings, Clementine Dinkel (Otto), Mary Hoffman, Fredinand Dinkel (Catherine), Helen Kreutzer (Leonard), Michael Hoffman Jr. (Dorothy), Victor Hoffman (Amelia), Joseph Hoffman (Elsie), Agatha Geier (Gottfried), Frank Hoffman (Mary Ann), Robert Hoffman, Elizabeth Flax (Lawrence) and Anthony Hoffman; his son-in-law Roger Brown; and his siblings-in-law, Louis Dreiling, Daniel Friess, Bill Wellbrock, Donald Augustine and Ann Pfeifer (Diane Wellbrock).
He is survived by: his children, Linda Garner (Dennis) of Gorham, KS, Marcy Watson (Bruce) of Topeka, KS, Karen Brown of Walker, KS and Glen Hoffman (Michelle); his grandson Bradley Garner (Rosina); his children, Jason Garner, Sandie Garner, Angie Howard (Nicholas), Eric Watson (Lindsey), Stacy Watson, Chad Brown (Amanda), Clint Brown, Brenda Gaston (Dan), Kristi Geihsler (Jeremey), Jolene Haas (Tyler), Marie Smedley (Andrew) and Stephanie Edwards Edwards (Ian); his siblings, Daniel Hoffman of Salina, KS, Magdalena Dreiling of Denver, CO and Rita Friess of Spearville, KS; and his siblings-in-law, Judy Hoffman of Liebenthal, KS, Wayne Wellbrock of Victoria, KS, Joyce Wellbrock of Victoria, KS, Shirley Augustine of Ellsworth, KS, Lucy Boucher of Hays, KS and Sunell Koerner of Liberty, MO.. He is also survived by his 22 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A prayer was held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 at 6:30 PM at the Cline's-Keithley Mortuary (412 Main St, Victoria, KS 67671). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Basilica of Saint Fidelis (900 Cathedral Ave, Victoria, KS 67671).
