He is survived by: his children, Stan McDonald of WaKeeney, Kansas, Scot McDonald of Colby, Kansas and Brenda Hoopingarner (Lance) of Otis, Kansas; his stepchildren, John Miller (Angela) of Abilene, Sterling Miller (Debi) of Wyoming, Deidre Day (David) of Quinter and Tiffany Martin (Kenneth) of Oakley, Kansas; and his daughter-in-law Tammy McDonald of Oberlin, KS. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Gove Cemetery.
