She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert E. Courson and Mary Alice Courson (Lowe); and her siblings, Marion, George, Bill, Hubert, Jr. (Courson), Doris McKitrick, Jeanette Haas and Pauline Davis.
She is survived by: her children, Phillip Burhenn of Great Bend, Paul Burhenn (Mercy) of Great Bend and Gayle Fanshier (Roger) of Seward; her grandchildren, Denton Burhenn, Ben Fanshier, Travis Burhenn, Andrew Fanshier, Jacob Fanshier, Trenton Burhenn, Brock Lawrence, Alisha Mawhirter and Shelby Stites; Leila Watkins of Stafford, Kan.. She is also survived by twenty great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bryant Funeral Home (1425 S Patton Rd, Great Bend, KS 67530). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
