We are sad to announce that on June 21, 2025, at the age of 89, Charlene Rae Brown of Great Bend, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert J. Rowlands and Grace Rowlands (Nelson); her husband Charles "Chuck" Kenneth Brown; her sister-in-law Mary Rowlands; and her nephew Robert J. Rowlands III.
She is survived by: her daughters, Christy Schultz and Evelyn Harr (Carl); her grandchildren, Elydia of Great Bend, Kan. and Ethan Harr of Great Bend, Kan.; her brother Robert J. Rowlands Jr. of Mesa, Ariz.; and her nephews, Michael Rowlands (Dianna) of Phoenix, Ariz., Russell Rowlands (Mary) of Tempe, Ariz. and Ryan Rowlands (Janice) of Fort Worth, Tex..
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bryant Funeral Home (1425 S Patton Rd, Great Bend, KS 67530). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Community Christian Church (253 NE 30 Rd, Great Bend, KS 67530). A burial will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Mount Hope Cemetery.
