He was predeceased by: his parents, Everette Raymond and Viola Mae Boese Ellis; his sister Carol Patterson; and his brother-in-law Norman Koontz. He is survived by: his daughters, Sunni Smyth (Kris) and Wendi Carr (Chad); his grandchildren, Reagan Ratliff (Koltyn) and Brandon Smyth (Airika Frey); and his great grandchild Levi Ratliff.
