David Foss Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Foss of Great Bend, Kansas, who passed away on September 6, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald C. Foss and Alice G. Foss (Westerhaus); his granddaughter Alexis Crowther; his nephew Tyler Foss; his brother Richard Foss; and his brother-in-law Roland L. "Smitty" Smith.

He is survived by: his stepchildren, Doug Kaiser (Michelle) and Lori Crowther (Alan) of Great Bend; his grandchildren, Chris Kaiser (Sarah), Kyle Kaiser, Brice Kaiser, Cal Kaiser, Allyson Kaiser and Cody Crowther (Kristin); his great grandchildren, Coleman Crowther, Conrad Crowther, Campbell Crowther, Anastyn Kaiser and Wesley Kaiser; and his siblings, Dr. Dan Foss (Patty) of Hutchinson, Kan., Jane Smith of Great Bend and Jean Horton (Bill) of Boston, Mass.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
