She was predeceased by: her father William Chambers, Sr.; her stepfather Robert Ewing; her stepbrother Gary Ewing; her niece Jill Chambers; and her father-in-law Arlon Postlethwaite.
She is survived by: her mother Jean Ewing (Turner); her husband Gerald Arlon "J. P." Postlethwaite; her children, Joel Postlethwaite (Jeri) of Great Bend and Dena Popp (Rick) of Great Bend; her brothers, Frank Chambers (Alice) and Bill Chambers of Wichita; her stepsiblings, Doug Ewing (Jalayne) of Ellinwood, Sandy Parrett of Larned and Terri Sue Kohls (Kent) of Great Bend; her grandchildren, Kelci Popp, Jace Postlethwaite, Brody Postlethwaite, Lance Popp (Jessica) and Trey Popp; her great grandchildren, Greyson and Ellis Popp; and her mother-in-law Eleanora Postlethwaite of Great Bend. She is also survived by her children and grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bryant Funeral Home (1425 S Patton Rd, Great Bend, KS 67530). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM.
