We are sad to announce that on October 21, 2025, at the age of 96, Deon Louise Lupton of Great Bend, Kansas passed away. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Rankin and Ruth Rankin (Miller); her spouse Gail Lupton; her children, Jan Nelson (Curtis) and Brent Lupton; her brother Duane Rankin; and her grandson David Nelson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Weaver (Brad) of Springfield and Paula Lupton of Great Bend; her daughter-in-law Anita Lupton of Kingwood, Tex.; and her grandchildren, Jason Weaver (Marissa), Megan Weaver (Gahan Fallone), Jennifer Garcia (Frank), Kevin Lupton (Laura), Kathryn Cox (Justin), Gregory Lupton and Lexi Held (Ryan). She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (2701 24th St, Great Bend, KS 67530). She was active with RSVP, the Blood Mobile, and TLC Discoveries.
