She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Zielke and Bertha Zielke (Classen); and her husband Donald M. "Junior" Nelson. She is survived by: her children, Amy Smith (Spencer) of Sterling, KS, Ashley Corwin of Hutchinson, KS, Andrea Ketch of Great Bend, KS and Ryan Corwin (Samantha) of Sterling, KS; her brother Robert Zielke (Kirsten) of Fowler, KS; her grandchildren, Kalyssa, Kaelyn, Kooper, Ezra, Tucker, Joshua, Madison, Bravely and Adventure; her nephew Zane Zielke of Brooklyn, NY; and her pet Bailey.
Memorials may be given to Rice County Council on Aging in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Sterling.
