He was predeceased by : his parents, Fred Jacobs and Rose Jacobs (Klug); his wife Sue; his brothers, Virgil, Alvin and Melvin Jacobs; and his brothers-in-law, Daniel Graney and Doug Nimmo.

He is survived by : his children, Monte Jacobs (Crystal) of Odin and Renee Zink (Neil) of Odin; his grandchildren, Carson Jacobs, Bella, Lily and Jacob Zink; and his sisters, Carol Graney of Bellevue and Judy Nimmo of St. Louis, Missouri. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
