We are sad to announce that on May 2, 2021, at the age of 72, John William Herl of Great Bend, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Victorinus "Vic" and Mabel Herl (Leeper). He is survived by : his former life partners, Vicki Day and Bernadean "Bernie" Stos Suppes; his children, Cameron Herl Day (Alma Castillo) of San Jose and Brandee Harrison of Great Bend; his stepchildren, Shawna Farley (Chris) of Dallas and Chad Suppes (Keri) of Hays; his siblings, Vickie Herl of Great Bend, Vic "Joe" Herl, Jr. (Rena) of Arizona, Valerie Hartle (Allen) of North Carolina, James "Jim" Herl of Wichita, Jerry Herl of North Dakota and Vanessa McCormick (Mike) of Ohio; and his grandchildren, John E. Herl Day, Breelee Harrison, Brooklee Harrison, Baislee Harrison, Brittany Kozura, Kaitlyn Suppes and Kale Suppes. He is also survived by three step grandchildren; and eight step great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials have been designated to the John W. Herl Funeral Expense Fund, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
