He was predeceased by: his parents, Emery Doyle and Bertha Wells (Staerkel); his son Douglas Wells; his brothers, Melvin and Larry Wells; and his pet Missy.
He is survived by: his former wife Ruby Popp; his wife Lois Bath; and his daughters, Debra McAnulla (Steve) of Great Bend, Kan., Carol Herrman (Bill) of Great Bend, Kan. and Cheryl Davis of Great Bend, Kan.. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and two nephews.
