It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Libbie Ann Olson of Great Bend, Kansas, born in Omaha, Nebraska, who passed away on November 7, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Storch and Bozena Storch; her husband Cedric Olson; and her sisters, Dramy Smith of Grand Island, NE and Bozena Drozda of Omaha, NE..
She is survived by: her daughters, Nancy Francis (John) of Great Bend and Jane Gunn-McRae (Terry) of Topeka; her grandchildren, Lauren Jones (Jeremiah) of Lakewood, CO, Leslie Klug (Nick) of Great Bend, Garrett Gunn (Natasha) of Topeka and Morgan Francis of Hermosa Beach, CA; her stepgrandsons, Josh McRae (Kelly) of Overland Park and Justin McRae of Eudora; her great grandchildren, Olivia, Liam Klug of Great Bend, William and Libbie Jones of Lakewood, CO; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Keegan and Kade McRae; and her brother Dr. Vladimir Storch (Gloria) of Omaha, NE. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Other professional memberships include KNEA, Kansas Association of School Librarians and Delta Kappa Gamma, PEO, Cosmopolitan Study Club and RSVP.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been designated to First Presbyterian Church and USD 428 Education Foundation, in care of Bryant Funeral Home, 1425 Patton Rd., Great Bend, KS 67530.
