He is survived by: his wife Kathy Johnson; his sons, Scott Johnson (Jamie) of Great Bend and Shawn Mangold (Robert) of Burlington, Colo.; his stepdaughter Lisa Smith of Larned; his daughter-in-law Candice Johnson of Great Bend; his sisters, Jill Johnson of Great Bend and Alethea Peschka (Joseph Sr.) of Great Bend; his grandchildren, Kimberly Rosenbohm, Alexandria Synder, Maleia R. Johnson, Zayden S. Johnson, Hunter L. Johnson, Kolton G. Johnson and Malakai K. Mangold; and his great grandchildren, Faith, Zoey and Ashley.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bryant Funeral Home (1425 S Patton Rd, Great Bend, KS 67530). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the First Southern Baptist Church (3301 19th St, Great Bend, KS 67530).
