He was predeceased by: his mother Dorothy Schmitt (Wagner). He is survived by: his father Vernon Schmitt; his wife Laura Wilson; his son Robert Schmitt (Sarah) of Newton; his granddaughters, Gwendolyn and Sophia; his daughter Chasity Navarro (Brian) of Edmond; his grandchildren, Rylie and Parker; his daughter Danielle McNutt of Great Bend; his grandchildren, Taigen and Stryker; his daughter Terra DeCarolis (Jesse) of Great Bend; his grandchild Keller; and his siblings, Scott Schmitt (Sharon) of Ellis and Tracy Jenisch (Jason) of Harrisonville, Missouri. He is also survived by two nieces; one nephew.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Solid Word Ministries of Kansas (242 US-281, Great Bend, KS 67530).
